Benfica officially announced the signing of 25-year-old Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios, sportal.bg reported.
The Colombian footballer signed a contract until 2030, and the transfer fee is 27 million euros.
Rios was previously linked with a move to Zenit, but rejected the offer of the St. Petersburg club, as he does not want to play in Russia. Roma also fought for his signature.
Last season, Rios played 36 games in all tournaments, in which he scored 4 goals and made 4 assists.
