BDZ appeals to all passengers to take a more responsible approach to protecting public resources. BDZ's position is in connection with the increased cases of serious pollution of trains by passengers.
On this occasion, the holding company points out that the condition in which the carriages are often left after a trip contradicts all norms of public order, culture and respect for other passengers and the work of the company's employees.
"Despite limited resources and the fact that part of the rolling stock is old, BDZ makes constant efforts to maintain and clean the trains. This requires both large human resources and significant financial resources and time. It is worrying that recently there has been a trend of increasing frequency of such events, including throwing waste on the seats and floor, spilling food and drinks, as well as leaving large amounts of garbage. Such actions repel other passengers, leaving the wrong impression that insufficient care is taken for the hygiene and maintenance of the trains", emphasizes BDZ.
And adds that maintaining cleanliness and order in the trains depends primarily on the culture of the passengers. BDZ calls on all passengers to behave consciously and responsibly. Any manifestation of bad faith and vandalism leads to significant additional costs for the carrier, which are often at the expense of planned investments.
