The mother of 8-year-old Ivan, who died in Nessebar: I expect there will be punishments. We are already doomed - 1

A little dreamer, a boy who left a mark and helped whoever he could. The pride of his parents. This is how his blackened mother Maria Daneva described 8-year-old Ivan from Razlog, who died when falling from a parachute at the parasailing attraction in Nessebar, to NOVA. The woman wanted to speak out to help other parents.
„If we can save the children in the future in some way, that's why I do everything. We are already doomed", says Maria Daneva.
„He loved the sea, he saved money for a whole year, counted it and was happy that he had it for one sea, maybe a second one. He made plans where we would go. He liked the sea so much that he wanted to live there. The three of you go on vacation and the two of you come back. We were left with an empty home, without laughter, without knocking, without happiness, without anything. They took the meaning of my life, he disappeared. I tried to protect Ivan from everything, but in the end, what you think is safe turns into a tragedy. There have been no accidents so far, so we put Ivan on the parachute. We raised him with a lot of love, and we lost him without being able to help him", the upset mother also shares.

„What affected me the most was that he wrote from the age of 3 and up and I continue to limit him for this and that, and he wants so much”, she says.

„We tried with his father to make him a person, to help whoever he could, to be empathetic, it was our pride”, says Maria Daneva. He was about to start second grade. The child dreamed of becoming a police officer like his father.

„I expect that there will be punishments, that it will be known who is guilty. If we can prevent cases of child deaths, which is the worst, we are already doomed. "To raise a child with so much love and lose him and not be able to help him at the last moment. And you come home and everything is empty and quiet and wherever you look, he is just a memory of a terrible picture," says Maria Daneva.
