The Council of Ministers adopted a decision on the free provision for the management of a property - public state property, representing an archaeological site - an immovable cultural value “Ancient Stadium of Philippopolis” (Rome Stadium according to the plan of the CGCH), of the Municipality of Plovdiv, Plovdiv Region for a period of 10 years.
The government also adopted a decision to provide free of charge management of a property - public state property, representing an archaeological site - immovable cultural value “Odeon”, part of the Forum complex of Filipopol, to the municipality of Plovdiv, Plovdiv Region for a period of 10 years.
The activities related to the preservation of immovable cultural values, as well as the implementation of other scientific, cultural, educational and tourist activities will be carried out by the Regional Archaeological Museum - Plovdiv, in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Cultural Heritage. The relations between the museum and the Plovdiv municipality will be regulated by contract.
