Darin Kostov is the new director of the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (GDCOC), the Ministry of Interior announced.
Before his appointment, Kostov served as deputy director of the directorate. With the decision, he is taking over the leadership of the GDCOC.
The previous chief, Martin Zlatkov, had been temporarily holding the position. Kostov’s appointment replaces the directorate’s interim leadership.
