The court postponed the case for the death of 14-year-old Philip , who was run over on a footpath on "Gurko" in the capital last September. The reason - the lawyer of the boy's family did not appear due to an official commitment in Stara Zagora.
According to the indictment, the defendant Petar Todorov was driving with 2.1 parts per million of alcohol in his blood. Expertise proved that the man was driving at nearly 90 km/h with a speed limit of 30 km/h. According to initial information, the driver did not even see the crossing boy.
The new date for the start of the case is May 23.
