A 48-year-old driver was detained in the center of Sofia after a race with the police, BNT reported.
Around 9:00 p.m., a car disobeys a team of the Specialized Police Forces of the Metropolitan Directorate of Internal Affairs and starts a race in the area of "Dondukov" Blvd. The driver is stopped, but refuses to open the door, blows the horn, asks the employees for a document to work with personal data.
The driver has been detained - until now unknown to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he claims to be a member of the "Truth and only the truth" party. After an investigation, it was found that he is a candidate for deputy from the mentioned party. He refuses a drug test. He was later released. The case was reported to the prosecutor on duty.
