An elderly man is in hospital after a brutal beating in Stara Zagora

A 73-year-old man was beaten in Stara Zagora, the police announced.

On July 10, a report was received that the man was admitted to the Emergency Medical Center in a helpless state with multiple wounds on the head and body after being beaten.

The victim was examined and it was found that, as a result of the blows, he suffered fractures to his ribs and nasal bones.

He was admitted to hospital for treatment. After an investigation, the perpetrator - a 52-year-old man - was arrested. The case is being investigated.
