A 58-year-old man is in danger of life after being injured by a cold weapon.
On July 10, around 8:18 p.m., the police in the city of Knezha received a report of a serious domestic conflict. Teams of the regional police department were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon their arrival, the police found that a fight had taken place between two families on the street in front of a private house.
The incident occurred when a man armed with a melee weapon inflicted multiple injuries on his opponents.
Three people were injured. The most seriously injured was a 58-year-old man who was transported to a hospital in Pleven with a life-threatening condition.
Two other men, aged 25 and 29, also received cuts, but after medical examinations they were released for home treatment.
The 38-year-old perpetrator of the attack was detained with a police measure for a period of up to 24 hours. During the inspection of the crime scene, a knife used in the attack was found and seized.
The case has been handed over to the District Prosecutor's Office in Pleven, which will conduct an investigation.
