At the request of the District Prosecutor's Office in Montana, the court ordered the permanent arrest of a 43-year-old man who attempted to intentionally kill three people, the prosecution announced.
On July 31, 2024, he attacked with a knife in her home on “Lipa“ in Varshets, his ex-girlfriend, stabbed her with a knife and she suffered injuries to her neck and left collarbone. Bodily injuries and stab wounds with a knife were also inflicted on two relatives of the woman who were in the same house.
The accused has a criminal record and has been repeatedly convicted of various crimes. In view of this, the court ordered that he be detained and await his sentence in the case in prison.
The investigation of the case continues under the direction of the District Prosecutor's Office in the city.
