At least three more defendants are expected in the investigation of the credit affair of Rumen Gaitanski - Valka. The analysis of the evidence collected so far indicates that it is possible that Gaitanski will also be charged with document crimes.
The court is expected to consider Gaitanski's measure today, BNT reports. Currently, the cash flow after receiving the loan is also being tracked. Investigators have data that more than 1 million euros were invested in the purchase of a luxury yacht, which was used mainly in the Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean islands. The registers indicate that the yacht regularly docked on the island of Mykonos, and along our coast it only entered the southern Black Sea.
Evidence is also being collected of money laundering, most likely carried out by Gaitanski and managers of companies connected to him. Rumen Gaitanski is now in custody after voluntarily surrendering on Friday. He appeared alone on Thursday at the Anti-Corruption Commission, but instead of being detained, he was told to return on Friday - his lawyer told BNT yesterday.
