The establishment in Halkidiki, where the shooting happened between Bulgarians, has already had its license revoked and is closed. The news came from the lawyer of five of the eight who were detained - Lazaros Minasidis. He is a defender of customers of the restaurant, who caused the scandal because of a delayed order. Before BNT, Minasidis stated that they will ask for compensation of one million euros.
After raising the tone because of a delayed order, the security at the establishment was the first to draw a weapon, claims the lawyer Lazaros Minasidis, who defends one of the parties. He says this is also visible on the cameras:
"There wouldn't have been a problem if the people at the restaurant hadn't called security and gotten nervous."
It is not yet clear what charges those who used the weapon will face.
Lazaros Minasidis: "I will wait, if it hasn't been raised yet, for attempted murder."
He does not deny that the customers of the restaurant, who are also his customers, were nervous, but he reminds that they were not carrying a gun. They are also facing charges.
Lazaros Minasidis: "For three of them for bodily harm, but I am sure that later or at the trial itself we will prove that they did not hit anyone."
According to sources of "Around the world and in our country", at this stage the Greek authorities have not sought the Bulgarian institutions for assistance in the case. Lawyer Minasidis does not believe the media reports, according to which the case is related to settling accounts between mobsters:
"I think that everyone has the right to write novels. From there on it is very far from the truth."
