A 23-year-old man was arrested, accused of murdering an elderly woman in the village of Montana You're getting wet. She was robbed and killed for BGN 105 on July 9. The victim was hit on the head with a metal object. The 82-year-old woman lived alone, and the crime was committed during the day.
„The murdered woman was found by a social worker who took care of her. Numerous interrogations and searches were conducted. It paid off and on Wednesday the perpetrator was arrested. He made a confession. He knew the victim. The maximum sentence he can receive is life in prison without parole, and the minimum is – 20 years behind bars”, commented on the air of “Hello, Bulgaria” supervising prosecutor Rosen Petkov.
