The Plovdiv District Prosecutor's Office charged a 50-year-old woman with attempted murder.
On August 21, in Joakim Gruevo, she made an attempt to deliberately kill a 62-year-old man. The act remained unfinished due to reasons beyond the control of the actor.
The two are husband and wife, and on the day in question they were at home and consumed alcohol. A conflict arose between them, and subsequently the woman took a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband in the heart area with it.
A signal was sent to tel. 112. The victim was taken to the hospital and admitted for treatment.
The woman was detained for up to 72 hours by decree of the supervising prosecutor. Today, August 23, at the request of the District Prosecutor's Office-Plovdiv, the court determined a measure of remand "detention in custody" against the accused, the prosecutor's office announced.
