The Sofia Court of Appeal will hold a new hearing in the case against Krasimira Trifonova, who is accused of the murder of Peyo Peev in January, NOVA reported.
A week ago, the Sofia City Court rejected her request for a lighter measure of remand, so that she could be treated in a psychiatric clinic, and left her in custody.
The magistrates appointed a new examination, which must prove whether the condition of the accused requires her to be admitted to a medical institution. So far, the investigation has established that the man was sitting in the driver's seat of a car, and the cause of his death was strangulation. It is assumed that the motive for the crime is related to parental rights.
