During a specialized police operation to combat domestic crime, officers of the OD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Dobrich, RU of the Ministry of the Interior Tervel and the Special Tactical Actions sector carried out large-scale searches on the territory of the RU Tervel Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The operation also included a police team with a specialized drug detection dog.
In a hall located in a former farm in the village of Orlyak, region Dobrich, the law enforcement authorities found a cache where, with the help of the police dog, they found numerous polyethylene bags containing a dry grass mass weighing 216 grams, which in field tests reacted to cannabis. In addition, 8 grams of a white crystalline substance that reacts to methamphetamine was found in the same cache, reports pronewsdobrich.bg
In the course of the operation, with the assistance of teams from the Special Tactical Actions sector from Varna, a 51-year-old man, known to the Ministry of the Interior, was detained. The person was detained for 24 hours, while investigations continue to establish the full volume of his criminal activity.
During additional operative-search measures (OIM) and procedural-investigative actions (PSD), another cache was discovered in a residential building, part of a commercial establishment managed by the same person.
