In memory of those killed in a violent accident in Sofia, relatives and sympathizers of Ani and Yavor gather today in front of the Courthouse before the hearing in the case in the Sofia Court of Appeal, NOVA reported.
Their protest is a demand for justice for the death of the two young people.
In July, at first instance, the Sofia City Court sentenced Adrian Antonov to 6 years in prison and found him guilty of death due to negligence on a footpath on the “Slivnitsa” boulevard.
The tragedy happened on May 8 last year. His sentence was reduced by 1/3 because of his guilty plea. Today is the first hearing of the case at the second instance.
