On November 19, the police received a signal from the mayor of the village of Pokraina that since November 9, two residents of the village – father and son, aged 62 and 28, are missing. This was announced at a press briefing by the head of the “Security Police” at the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Vidin Commissioner Martin Markov.
According to him, on the day of filing the report, the two were declared a national wanted man. On the part of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Vidin, all operative-search measures were taken, with the use of service dogs, as well as the necessary new equipment – drones in service in the directorate.
At the moment, the motor vehicle in which the men were traveling has been identified and the place where they were last seen has been located, he added. Other operative-search measures are being carried out with the aim of their exact localization.
To date, they have not been identified, with more activities to come, related to meetings with mayors of settlements, chairmen of hunting groups, with the aim of a more comprehensive search and identification of the persons, specified Commissioner Markov.
