The name of Ruzha Ignatova is again in the news of the world media. This time with the hypothesis that she is alive. German authorities are also working on leads that lead to a specific location. They came to the conclusion that the person named as Ignatova's killer was in prison in the Netherlands at the time the murder was allegedly committed. He cannot be the perpetrator.

Investigators are looking into every lead in the search for Ignatova. And in an interview with the German journalist Johann von Mirbach, the spokesman for the authorities said that some leads lead to South Africa – the place where a lot of money can buy anonymity and a luxurious lifestyle.

The investigative journalist Aron Hyman spoke about the hypothesis that Ruza Ignatova is in South Africa on NOVA. For years he researched the Bulgarians living in the country and associated with criminal groups there. According to him, this probability sounds realistic.

"If the German authorities believe that Ruza Ignatova is alive and in South Africa, I would not doubt it. Cape Town is the type of city and South Africa is the type of place where criminals, organized crime figures, internationally wanted persons and wanted politicians hide from the authorities," the journalist explained.

And he added that there is a large Bulgarian community in the country – about 25 thousand people. Hyman emphasized that there is also "a very cohesive Bulgarian organized crime group, or even more than one, from the mid-to-late 1990s".

The journalist also talked about the murder of Angelo Dimov and Nezabravka, whom he indicated were allegedly involved in a Bulgarian organized criminal network, "including Krasimir Kamenov". Dimov was involved in billions worth of credit card fraud, he added.

According to him, some of the individuals in this network are involved in large-scale cocaine trafficking between Latin America, Europe and Australia. And he emphasized that an arrest was made in 2021, during which four Bulgarians were arrested, one of whom was Borislav Atanasov.

"If Ruza Ignatova wanted to find asylum, she would have needed protection from someone. And it is logical that she turned to people she trusted. Maybe people she was targeting through her criminal network. As far as I understand, she was related to Taki, and he was related to Kuro", the journalist also pointed out.

Hyman believes that for someone like Ignatova, very few places in the world would be safe. "And Krasimir Kamenov thought he was safe in South Africa, and we saw how far that went," the journalist pointed out.
