The Sofia City Court will again consider the case of Filip Arsov, who was run over on a pedestrian crossing on Monday, April 28.
We recall that the teenager Filip was killed on September 2, 2023 on the pedestrian crossing on “Gurko“ and “Shishman“ streets in the immediate vicinity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs by a drunk driver who was driving three times the speed limit.
Petar Todorov is accused of the accident. The experts proved that the driver killed 15-year-old Filip, driving at 88 km/h and with over 2 per mille of alcohol in his blood. After the accident, Todorov was detained, but in February 2024 he was released under house arrest, and the court decision caused serious public discontent.
