A man found helpless in front of a shop in Nessebar is fighting for his life after a brutal beating.
He was transported to the intensive care unit of the Burgas University Hospital with a life-threatening condition.
He has a traumatic hematoma, focal brain injury and a fractured skull. At the moment, his identity is being clarified, reports "24 hours".
According to police data, on 28.07.2018 at around 01.10 a.m., the Regional Directorate – Nessebar received a report of an incident in the area in front of the "Spesti" grocery store in Nessebar.
As a result of the rapid police action, the perpetrator of the beating was identified - a 27-year-old man from Pomorie, who was detained for up to 24 hours.
The causes of the incident are being clarified. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
