Swedish actor and musician Björn Andersen, called the "most beautiful boy of the 20th century", has died at the age of 70, the newspaper „Dagens Nyheter“ reports.

Björn Andersen was born in 1955 and made his film debut in Roy Andersen's “Love Story“ in 1970. He gained international fame in 1971 when he played the lead role (as the boy Tadzio) in the famous film by Italian director Luchino Visconti “Death in Venice“, based on the novella of the same name by Thomas Mann.
