American actor Julian McMahon has died at the age of 56, reports Deadline, citing his wife Kelly McMahon.
“I want to share with the world that my beloved husband Julian McMahon passed away peacefully this week after a heroic battle with cancer“, she said.
McMahon died on July 2 in Clearwater, Florida.
The actor's wife thanked everyone who supported her in connection with her husband's death, and asked fans not to disturb her family during the mourning period.
Julian McMahon gained popularity thanks to his leading roles in the films “Nip/Tuck“, “Charmed“, “FBI: Most Wanted“. He also played Doctor Doom in the 2005 film “Fantastic Four“.
