Born on February 6, 1721 in Germany, Christian Heinrich Heineken at eight weeks could speak German, one year old – to read the Pentateuch, broadcasts NOVA
Two years old – to read the Old and New Testaments in Latin, at the age of three he wrote. “History of Denmark” and recited it on a visit to the King of Denmark the following year. He remains known by the nickname “The Baby from Lübeck“.
The child is documented quite well for the standards of the time – even Immanuel Kant wrote an essay about it.
By the age of 3, the little genius had excellent knowledge of history, geography and literature. He was also interested in biology and mathematics, preferring textbooks to toys, adds NOVA.
