The 55-year-old singer first performed the Christmas hit in October 1994 - the first single from her holiday album "Merry Christmas" - and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the song, she will reissue it, releasing a new version of the album, dariknews.bg reported, citing BGNES.
The R&B legend shared the news on her Instagram account and recreated the album cover, which features her dressed in a Santa-inspired fur-trimmed jumpsuit.

On its release in 1994, the album “Merry Christmas“ became a huge hit, selling 15 million copies.
“All I Want For Christmas Is You” was written jointly by Maria and producer Walter Afanasiev.
The song, which only took 15 minutes to write and compose, brings Mariah about $600,000 a year in royalties.
Mariah is also embarking on a North American Christmas tour.
The singer once again kicks off her annual 20-date Christmas extravaganza across the US, starting with a premiere at the Yamawa Theater. in Highland, California on November 6.
She will continue the tour in Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Illinois, and in December will move to Washington, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina and New Jersey.
Mariah will conclude the tour with 2 nights in New York: a concert at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park on December 15 and a final show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 17.
