Two underwear brands offered their cooperation to a runner whose underwear tore during a race, Outkick reports.
In June, American runner Chris Robinson won a 400-meter hurdles race in the Czech city of Ostrava. Halfway through the distance, the runner's shorts tore and he ran the rest of the way to the finish line, waving his bare penis.
Robinson celebrated his victory by doing a somersault.
Despite the obvious discomfort, Robinson demonstrated impressive concentration. His time was only 0.1 seconds worse than a personal record. The video of Robinson finishing went viral on social networks. After the incident, two underwear brands - Shinesty and Krakatoa - offered the athlete cooperation.
The companies want to advertise their products, specially designed for active sports. According to the CEO of Krakatoa, their design “excludes such interference thanks to a special cut“. According to the media, Robinson is already negotiating possible contracts.
