I will recall the old rule: "A client, a boyfriend, an employee and a voter do not steal. They leave on their own. Because they are missing something. Mostly respect."
If I happened to be the communications advisor of the PPDB, I would tell them:
- to look at the numbers and accept them;
- to stop immediately with the nonsense about a new assembly in the next parliament;
- to change their communication strategy;
- to start remembering why they had to make the assembly, people don't remember and are confused by the political fog;
- to start recalling what the real conditions were for the assembly, people are not required to remember;
- to stop with the "gentlemanly behavior" and to tell exactly what was happening in the last nine months;
- to start recalling what positive things they have done for these nine months, because this is also being washed away by political hysteria;
- to apologize for bad personnel decisions;
- to draw clear management priorities;
- to request an independent mandate for management.
Parties are nothing without their voters. Just a hollow shell curled up in the suffocating embrace of a greater political power.
But the voters will not achieve anything without a political force that has great support and the opportunity to fight for reforms.
And the bond between the two groups is good communication. Normal, calm, respectful communication.
It is clear that the voters of GERB, DPS, Vazrazhdane, BSP, ITN will vote for their parties, regardless of what their leaders do.
And PP-DB voters have two options:
Option 1: Accept that GERB lied to PP-DB due to the naivety of PP-DB, which makes PP-DB unable to govern, not hear any explanations or excuses, and seek to punish PP-DB by refusing to vote for them. This option leads to the situation in the picture, see the numbers.
Option 2: To accept that GERB lied to PP-DB due to PPDB's desire for real reforms, to have an open and honest conversation with people from PPDB, to listen to why and how it came to this -, to say what they are were the possibilities, what are the pros and cons, to hear what the people of the PP-DB leadership think, to see if they are ready for more battles against the conquered country, to see if the PP-DB leadership have learned lessons from the situation and if they ready to make changes, and if they are satisfied with the answers after these difficult conversations, to support them so that Bulgaria has a chance to continue with the reforms. This option leads to the possibility of change.
Everyone chooses how to react and how to vote. But it is the duty of the parties to explain. Not to be angry with their constituents for refusing support.
I will end again with the old rule: "A client, a boyfriend, an employee and a voter are not stolen. They leave on their own. Because they are missing something. Mostly respect."
Respect is only achieved through honest and open communication. Whatever it costs.
The campaign is only just beginning, but too much can be lost. I hope there is reason in the actions.
Have a peaceful day!
