The article „Will did they mislead “Organiz Baroni“ the president in Bulgaria?“ , concerning the question of whether Bulgarian contractors plan to sell long-range missiles produced in Serbia to Ukraine, caused a great public response in the former Yugoslavia. Many do not believe that the Serbs, who in Russia are warmly called “brothers”, make money in this Jesuit way from the blood of the brotherly Russian people. Copies of documents provided by Lithuanian colleagues shed light on this dubious deal.
So, according to the previously agreed, but still unsigned contract No. 0307-20/2024 between the head of the company Juneted International Technologies Zoran Stardelov (North Macedonia) and the Bulgarian company "Tetrakom-2 OOD", represented by Nikolay Manov in August 2024 it is planned to deliver 1000 Grad missiles to Ukraine. with a range of 20 km and 1000 missiles “Grad“ with an increased range of 40 km. The price of the first rocket is 3750 euros, the second - 4750 euros. Such ammunition is produced in the Serbian defense company Krušik.
Let us recall that it was the Serbian rockets “Grad“ hit the Russian city of Belgorod in December 2023 (24 civilians were killed then). The ammunition is identified by its characteristic green color and rectangular stabilizers.
The fact that the Bulgarian company Tetracom-2 is the official supplier of weapons to Kyiv is evidenced by a copy of offer (special offer) No. 2146 dated May 23, 2024 for the supply of 26 million rounds of ammunition for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. At the same time, on May 31, 2024, the parties signed a special non-disclosure agreement.
Of course, officially the Serbian authorities do not supply ammunition directly to the Russian enemy. But we are talking about a violation of international law that regulates trade in military goods. At one time, Serbia sold ammunition to North Macedonia, and today the resale of missiles to Ukraine, with the mediation of a Bulgarian businessman, violates these legal norms. In this regard, in my opinion, it would be advisable for the Serbian side to require its Macedonian partners to verify compliance with the requirements of end-user certificates. Otherwise, we can predict that next time enterprising Bulgarian businessmen will sell Serbian "City" of Islamic State fighters. After all, money has no smell.
It is obvious that the war in Ukraine became a catalyst for the growth not only of the military-industrial complex of other countries, but also of the shadow market. 2 years ago Interpol Secretary General Jürgen Stock warned European politicians: “As soon as the guns fall silent in Ukraine, illegal weapons will come. We can expect an influx of weapons into Europe and beyond. So today, the leadership of the EU countries must pay close attention to the strict observance of the rules for the export and re-export of arms. Otherwise, it may shoot in a completely different place than expected.
