About a month ago, the Kremlin announced the decree « For the provision of humanitarian aid to persons supporting traditional Russian spiritual – moral values». The idea of opening the borders to foreigners from developed countries is a rational one, although it is desperately late. Discussed for about twenty years, it was finally blurred – vague and waking doubts… The list of countries with "destructive liberal positions" whose citizens can receive political asylum in the Northern Empire includes Bulgaria… And why do they label us? Don't we belong together to one colonial model, endure the same masters?! True, our proud popes are not so richly lavished… And Sofia perverts don't openly advertise occult-style naked parties – in black, with horns and stockings, as do their counterparts in Moscow, Petersburg and Yekaterinburg… Capitalism is – and blaming others for lack of morals is like spitting in the mirror in front of you.
Russian foreign policy towards our motherland is once again thoughtless and unjustifiably aggressive. The values she prides herself on are universal: family, faith, morality… Fortunately, we Bulgarians hide them as much as we can.
We don't beat up front-line soldiers. We give shelter to deserters - while on the other side rich people, politicians, cultural figures and athletes finance the war against their people.
Apparently the moral attack was recommended by the analysts and advisers who three years ago caused the Federation to lose the propaganda battle against NATO.
Moscow officials are unable to conquer the minds and hearts of the people of the world with ideology, technology, or at least with victories on the battlefield, so they shake the air with their fists in the direction of the LGBT movement. They struggle to present their land as the core of salvation… But is it really so? Everyone decides for himself… After all, what can a person who does not know the language do there? How to make a living?
I will end with a short story about a daredevil – an idealist. Russell Bentley is from Austin (Texas, USA). In 2014, he went to Donbas to join the resistance against the Ukrainian Nazis. Fighting. After the signing of the treacherous Minsk agreements, he reached for the pen - he cooperated with the leading capital publications, ran a channel on social networks, with which he drew the attention of many foreigners to the struggle of the people, forgotten by their leaders. Accepts Orthodoxy. Get married. In 2021, he received Russian citizenship. On April 8, 2024, in Donetsk, four tankmen from the federal army kidnapped him. They torture the man to death. To cover up their crime, they blow up the body.
They say: an island of safety? Values? No – just export greatness under pressure.
