Lyubomir Alamanov: I don't know if you understood what Glavchev's government is preparing for us in 2025

Whatever is true or possible, one thing is clear: part of the political oligarchy is messing with all of us

FAKTI.BG publishes opinions with a wide range of perspectives to encourage constructive debates.

I don't know Did you understand what Glavchev's government is preparing for us? The same Glavchev, the non-party Glavchev, who has nothing to do with anything.

The government has proposed a budget for next year that is shocking to all normal people. The experts are yet to comment on the details, but here are just a few main issues.

This is what he warned on "Facebook" Lubomir Alamanov.

1. The cost part

The expenditure part jumps by 20 billion. That is, the caretaker government plans to spend more than 25% more next year than this year. The amount of state redistribution is over 46% - almost reaching the banana communist states.

You can thank the unions, the populists and the cabinet ministers who want to splash money like diamonds at a Christmas party.

2. The revenue part

i.e. where does the Service Cabinet think to find so much money to spend comfortably. Hint - from us. We will pay again that some politicians will feast with our money.

Here's just some of the nonsense:

- VAT revenues to jump by 26%. How? From where?

- income from profit tax would increase by 28%. Seriously?

- taxing the extraction of underground resources. But without stopping the concession fees. Companies will get fed up and leave.

- increasing the insurance burden. Together with an increase in the maximum insurance income, this will lead to a more than 50% increase in the sums for insurance of good specialists.

- tax amnesty. I.e. admitting that the state has not done its job and huge sums of tax have not been paid. Apparently we should all stop paying taxes, because then they will give us Amnesty when inflation eats up the sums.

And the icing on the cake: raising excise taxes on alcohol, with the motive of "improving the health of the population and preventing alcohol abuse". I immediately say what will happen:

- people will reorient themselves to lower quality alcohol;

- gray imports will increase;

- illegal production will increase;

- smuggling will increase;

- people will suffer from fake alcohol.

We have seen it, it will happen again.

And all this should happen in just two weeks.

Is this a joke? How can companies make plans? How could anyone want to work in such conditions?

3. Policy Implications

It is clear to any specialist that this is complete nonsense. Possible reasons are:

- no one has made the official cabinet submit such a proposal in order to have money to spend. He doesn't care if it will ruin the economy.

- the official cabinet purposefully proposes such absurdities so that the next government can cancel them and look like a hero in the eyes of the people.

- the office is simply useless.

Whatever is true or possible, one thing is clear: some of the political oligarchy is messing with us all.

And it depends on us how we will react. Don't forget - Glavchev is independent and has nothing to do with anything.

I feel sick.

What about you?

Have a peaceful day!
