Dr. Asen Peychev to FACTI: I predict that Iran would launch terrorist operations in the US and Europe!

Israel has "interesting information" about the location of Iran's 400 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium. This is what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says. The statement comes after the US - on the orders of President Donald Trump - launched strikes on nuclear sites in Iran. How will the conflict develop… Dr. Asen Peychev, a lecturer in national security and an expert in counterterrorism, speaks to FACTI.

- Mr. Peychev, "peace through strength" - is this the motto at the beginning of the 21st century. Is this the motto of the times we live in?
- For a long time there were negotiations that did not yield results! Iran postponed and blocked the negotiations with the idea of being able to create a nuclear weapon,

which would give them a strategic advantage for hegemony in the Middle East!

This would threaten the security of many countries, but mainly Israel and the developed Arab countries such as Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The world community has been making a mistake towards Iran for a long time and it was - you do not negotiate with terrorists! Let's not forget that they financed terrorism, trained terrorists in Lebanon - – “Hezbollah“, politicians and paramilitary structures. “Hamas“ is also under the control of the Iranian Council (Shura). And to answer you - unfortunately, yes, apparently this will be the motto at the beginning of the 21st century, in my opinion. Israel has preempted the nuclear strike prepared against them by the ayatollahs! Let's not forget that Iran is proclaiming the obliteration of the state of Israel!

- Israel is against Iran, and the US is helping. Is this the tactic to stop Tehran from developing nuclear weapons?
- The US intervention was expected and timely! Everything is happening against the background of Iran interfering and generating terrorism in Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. Thus, respectively, it was attacking Israel.

- What will be Iran's response?
- Iran's response is obvious. It responds with missile attacks, it wants to close the Strait of Hormuz! But I predict that Iran would launch terrorist operations in the US and Europe! I do not rule out using them in the so-called “dirty bomb“.

- US President Donald Trump said that “… he would think two weeks before an attack“, and the US struck three uranium enrichment bases in Iran 24 hours later. It was supposedly a bluff to surprise Tehran. Now we hear that the strike would be a one-time strike. Can we believe that…
- What Trump said was a tactical mistake by the enemy! In my opinion, there need to be more strikes that will lead to the overthrow of the terrorist regime of the ayatollahs.

- The White House administration says that no regime change is planned in Iran, Trump claims that it is possible if there is no change in the behavior of the ayatollahs. Who is telling the truth?
- In my opinion, for the military operation to have an effect, the regime in Iran must be changed! For Iran to take a democratic path! Let's not forget about the Kurds in Iran. They can be an impetus for democratic changes!

- Turkish President Recep Erdogan criticizes Israel, but he certainly sees that the USA is behind them. There are also many Kurds in Turkey. What do you expect…
- In my opinion, Erdogan made a mistake with his harsh attacks on Israel and Netanyahu! He understands well what will happen after the overthrow of the regime in Iran. The joining of the Iranian Kurds to the idea of creating an independent state of Kurdistan! This is an idea of the USA and Israel, which is going full force! In my opinion, the USA has once again shown Erdogan that it is only a regional player and that it must be taken into account. I also foresee a clash between Israel and Turkey at a later stage on the territory of Syria! The truth is that terrible tension is simmering in the Middle East, which could lead to escalation and nuclear conflict!
