The teams of Juventus and Inter ended with a score of 4:3 at the “Allianz Stadium“ in the Derby d’Italia from the third round of Serie "A", reported Sportal.bg.
Lloyd Kelly scored the goal for the hosts in the 14th minute, and in the 30th Hakan Çalhanoğlu equalized for the guests. However, the Turin team regained the lead in the 38th minute through Kenan Yildiz. In the 65th minute Çalhanoğlu restored the tie again with his second goal of the match. The complete turnaround in the match came in the 76th minute thanks to a goal by Marcus Thuram. In the 83rd minute, however, his brother Kefren Thuram brought another equalizer to the match. In the end, substitute Vasilije Adžić brought Juve success in added time.
Igor Tudor made three changes to his starting lineup after the narrow 1-0 victory over Genoa before the break in the championship. The defense remained intact, but Weston McKennie was selected as the left-back this time instead of Joao Mario. At the top of the attack, Jonathan David was replaced by Dušan Vlahović, who scored in the first two games of the season as a substitute. Behind him played Yildiz and Tun Kopmeyners, who replaced the injured Francisco Conceicao.
Like his colleague, Christian Chivu also made three changes to the starting lineup after the shocking 1-2 home loss to Udinese. In defense, Jan Bisek gave way to the latest new signing, Manuel Akanji, who made his debut. In midfield, another newcomer - Petar Sučić, was left on the bench this time due to the inclusion of Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Carlos Augusto started as a left-back instead of Federico Dimarco. The attacking tandem remained the familiar duo of Marcus Thuram - Lautaro Martinez.
"The Nerazzurri" started more inspired, with the first two misses of the match going to their own account. In the fourth minute, Nicolo Barella's volley from the edge of the penalty area flew wide of the goal. Five minutes later, Marcus Thuram also shot inaccurately. The home team's first shot came in the 13th minute, with Vlahović's shot blocked for a corner. After his performance, captain Manuel Locatelli crossed into the penalty area, where Bremer deflected the ball for Kelly, and the Englishman scored with a precise volley.
In the following minutes, the scalded guests launched an attack, but only managed a few blocked shots, then inaccurate shots by Alessandro Bastoni and Francesco Acerbi after corners. In the 29th minute, Locatelli tried a long shot, but after two ricochets the ball went out for a corner. Just a minute later, Inter finally managed to restore parity after a low shot by Çalhanoğlu from the edge of the penalty area.
Five minutes later, the midfielder made another attempt from a similar position, but this time Michele Di Gregorio caught the ball. Another long shot by the Turk followed, but this time he missed the target. On the other hand, in the 38th minute, his compatriot Yildiz restored the Turin team's lead with a long-range shot that Jan Sommer failed to save. In the minutes before the break, Kopmeijers and Mkhitaryan also launched long-range shots, but they were unsuccessful.
The second half began with pressure from the visitors, but nevertheless Vlahovic was the first to score with a miss in the 52nd minute, and shortly after that, Çalhanoğlu did the same. This is how it came to the 65th minute, when it was the midfielder who restored the tie with his second goal of the match. He controlled the ball on his chest and with a beautiful volley from the edge of the penalty area sent the ball into the net for 2:2.
In the 71st minute, it was Çalhanoğlu who took a direct free kick, with Bastoni deflecting the ball with his head, but it went wide. Five minutes later, the Milanese giants still managed to achieve a complete turnaround. Substitute Federico Dimarco crossed from a corner, and Marcus Thuram headed home his team's first lead of the match. However, Kefren Thuram was not far behind his brother and in the 83rd minute also headed home a cross from a free kick to make it 3:3.
However, this was not the last goal in this goal show. At the beginning of added time, Adzic took a great shot from very long range, which bent Sommer's fingers for the 19-year-old midfielder's debut goal, which brought the "Old Lady" success in the derby. The guests had claims for a foul in Kefren Thuram's attack against reserve Angers-Yoann Bony seconds earlier, but VAR saw nothing wrong and so the winning goal was allowed.
