A fan welcomed the Bulgarian national football team at the airport in Valladolid. Little Georgi came with his father in front of the arrivals terminal and waited for the team, BTA reported.
An ardent fan of CSKA, like his father, the boy was with the "army" team and received autographs. The first to sign his autograph was the president of the Bulgarian Football Union, Georgi Ivanov, and the father – an emigrant from Haskovo and engaged in transport activities, laughed that it was probably the first time that the former Levski scorer put his signature on the team of the eternal rival.
Goalkeeper Svetoslav Vutsov, Rosen Bozhinov, Stanislav Shopov and Hristiyan Petrov also signed the team of 10-year-old Georgi, who sadly admitted that he had not been back to Bulgaria for six years.
The Bulgarian national team arrived in Valladolid on a charter flight, after which the bus headed to the super-luxury hotel "NH Balago". Hot weather awaited the Bulgarian group, and the team will train tonight from 8:00 p.m. Bulgarian time at the stadium where the match will be played. The official press conference will be held half an hour earlier.
The new face in the group is Martin Georgiev – defender of Slavia, who will replace the injured Ivan Turitsov in the plans of the coach Alexander Dimitrov. Lukas Petkov also dropped out of the group, which means that the players for the match with Spain are 23 or all will be entered in the match protocol.
Bulgaria will visit tomorrow at the "Soria" stadium in Valladolid to the European football champion Spain, who are in a terrifying series of three consecutive defeats and a goal difference of 1:12.
