Spartak (Varna) won 2:1 over Dobrudja in the regional derby of the 28 round of the Second League, reported Sportal.

The two teams played an interesting match at the “Trough” in Varna, and Ahmed Ahmedov and Ivey Romees became heroes for the hosts. The former scored both goals (22’ and 28’), and the Panamanian assisted twice. In the second half, Akhmedov could have completed his hat-trick again after a pass from Romesh, but the ball deflected off the crossbar. At the very end of the match, Dobruja returned one goal through Klimentov (91’), but it turned out to be insufficient.

The match started calmly, and until the tenth minute it was interrupted several times due to violations and pain of players from both teams. As early as the 8th minute, the visitors had to make a forced substitution, as Stefan Traikov stepped crookedly and fell to the ground alone.

The first interesting situation came in the 18th minute, when Dimitar Pirgov shot from quite a serious distance. However, the ball went wide of the goal.

4 minutes later, however, the hosts opened the scoring. A double play between Ivey Romesh and Mehmed Sabri led to a good cross from the Panamanian on the right. Akhmedov lurked in the penalty area and headed in from close range to make it 1:0.

In the 28th minute “falcons” they struck a second time. One of the home team's good attacks led to a mistake in the Dobrudzha defense after which Ivey Romesh was brought on alone against Argilashki. The Panamanian passed the ball over the goalkeeper, and to be sure that it would end up in the net of Dobruja, Ahmed Akhmedov scored it from the goal line - 2:0.

Towards the end of the first part, Viktor Mitev could have made the result classic. The captain of Varna fired a powerful shot from distance, but the ball entangled in the outer part of the net. Thus, Spartak withdrew with a two-goal lead at the break.

The second half started calmly. In the 60th minute Andrian Dimitrov was brought out well and went past Videnov, but just before he delivered the finishing blow, Grnchov made a decisive split and drove the ball into the corner.

Dobrudzha played better in the second half and got to Spartak's goal more easily, but nothing dangerous was created. In the 66th minute, the hosts were again very close to a third goal. Ivey Romees advanced well down the right wing and crossed on the ground to Akhmedov. The striker controlled and shot but hit the crossbar. The visitors responded with a header to Pirgov after a corner, but Videnov showed a reflex and kicked out.

The guests responded with Pirgov's header after a corner, but Videnov showed a reflex and cleared. In the 72nd minute, a misunderstanding between the goalkeeper of Spartak and Grunchov allowed Preslav Yordanov to steal, pass the guard and shoot into an empty net. However, the small corner had its influence and the striker of Dobruja missed.

At the very end of the match, during one of Dobruja's attacks, Georgi Pashov crossed well on the ground, and Klimentov scored from close range to make the final score 2:1.
