Borussia Dortmund's top scorer in the first quarter-final of the Champions League against Atletico Madrid - Sebastien Aller will miss the second leg between the two teams, reported Focus.
Aller suffered a left ankle injury in Saturday's 2-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The striker was a starter for the first time since mid-September, but already at the beginning of the match he was fouled by the defender Nico Elvedi, which affected the left ankle of the Ivory Coast international. The shooter was forcibly replaced in the 10th minute.
"We have a diagnosis for Sebastien Aller, he is injured again in his left ankle. He needs a full week of rest and we'll see how he is next weekend. We expect him not to play in the next two or three games," coach Edin Terzic explained at his press conference.
For the match with Atletico Madrid, Terzic will count on the return of winger Jaden Sancho.
