Ludogorets have secured the signature of midfielder Rodrigo Saravia (right) from Uruguayan giants Peñarol, ESPN reported. The information was confirmed by the president of Peñarol, Inacio Rulio, who added that the Bulgarian champions will pay 1.8 million euros for the rights of the 23-year-old midfielder and retain 20 percent in a future transfer.
The player's contract with Razgrad will be for 3 years.
Ludogorets will be the first European club in Saravia's career. Rodrigo Saravia is a Peñarol junior. In 2021, he played on loan at Racing Montevideo, and in 2023 he was sent on loan to Gimnasia La Plata, where he played 32 matches.
