CSKA - Sofia are looking at a striker from Belgian Standard (Liège) in an attempt to solve the problem of the absence of a class forward at the top of his attack, claims "Mach Telegraf", quoted by sportal.bg.
"The Reds" are in talks with 22-year-old Abdul Tapsoba, who is owned by Standard but rarely finds a place in the squad. And he hasn't even smelled a field this year. However, Tapsoba has a good business card and accumulated experience in the championships of Belgium, Ligue 2 of France and Moldova. His best performance was in the former Soviet republic. In 2022, he was loaned to the strongest local club Sheriff (Tiraspol), with which he won the National Cup. In the 2022/23 season, Tapsoba played in 16 matches and scored 5 goals. He is also credited with Sheriff's breakthrough to the Conference League groups after scoring in the 3-1 win over Nice in the play-off round.
Thapsoba's career began in Côte d'Ivoire, from where he went to Standard (Liège). Later, he reached the first team and subsequently wore the shirt of Sheriff and second division French Amiens. At all times the Belgians retained the rights to it. A big plus in the ram's career is that he is a national of his country. In his 22 years, he already has an impressive 28 games and 5 goals.
The "Army" have already studied the qualities of Tapsoba and believe that he can help, at least temporarily, CSKA - Sofia in attack. It is expected that the "red" will try to take the batter on loan, as his chances of finding a place among the Standard starters are not very high. If they want to buy his rights, CSKA-Sofia must prepare a serious sum - at least around a million euros.
As is known, the selection of the "red" looping in regards to finding a quality ram. At the moment, in this position, Tomislav Stipich has only one option - Georgi Chorbadzhiyski.
