Patrick Vieira is no longer the coach of Strasbourg, the club informed, FOCUS reported.
He led the team from last summer. The separation between the two parties is by mutual consent.
Now the 48-year-old specialist is among the names mentioned for the new US coach, the authoritative Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reveals. Nothing concrete or close to a deal yet, but the Frenchman is one of the options being discussed.
Vieira began his coaching career in New York City in January 2016 and stayed there for two and a half years. Subsequently, he led the French Nice, the London Crystal Palace and until now Strasbourg.
