The women's team of CSKA lost to the Greek giant Panathinaikos with 1:3 (12:25, 20:25, 27:25, 16:25) game in 96 minutes in the hall "Hristo Botev" in a rematch from the first round of the "Challenge Cup" volleyball tournament, BTA reported.

The Bulgarian volleyball players started the match against the champion of Greece timidly, then played much better until the end of the match. Yulia Ivanova and Toni Zetova's girls showed a completely different level, being completely equal for long periods of their opponent's match.
The talented players showed growth as the match progressed, especially in the third game where they showed character to pull out a 27:25 victory. Now the "red" will try to draw positives for the upcoming season in the National Volleyball League.
The top scorer for CSKA in the match was Iveta Stanchulova with 17 points, and Alexandra Kostadinova added 10.
For the Greek team, which is led by former national coach Dragan Nesic, Martina Samadan finished with 20 points.
