The team of Real (Madrid) beat Celta 2:1 as a guest in a match of the 10th round of La Liga, Topsport reported.
Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring for "los Blancos" in the 21st minute, but in the 52nd minute, Viliot Svedberg equalized. 12 later, however, Vinicius Junior restored Real's lead after being assisted by Luka Modric, who had come on just three minutes earlier and became the oldest player to appear in a Real Madrid game at 39 and 40 days, breaking the record of the legend Ferenc Puskas.
The match started quite actively from both sides, and Celta missed an incredible opportunity to open the scoring early on. However, the Swede was unable to overcome the guard of Real Madrid, who managed to knock his shot into a corner. Fran Beltran made a mistake and lost the ball in front of his penalty area, which was taken advantage of by Kylian Mbappe, who with a great long shot with his right foot did not leave any chances to Guaita - 0:1 for the guests.
Celta tried to react to the goal by executing several static situations in front of Courtois' goal, which, however, did not create particular problems for the Belgian and the defense in front of him. Instead, Real Madrid could have doubled their lead in the 38th minute when Valverde found Vinicius with a cross, but the Brazilian's header went wide of the home side's goal. Shortly after, the Brazilian winger went into individual action and shot from a good position, but his shot still missed the target. That was the most interesting thing about the first half.
The second part began with an individual action by Jude Bellingham, who had remained out of the limelight until now. The Englishman overcame several opponents and shot, but his shot went wide of Guaita's goal. However, Celta equalized in the 52nd minute. Barcelona's teenager Oscar Mingesa made an excellent cross from the right and found Viliot Svedberg, who was left alone in the penalty area of Real, and the Swede found the ball well with his right foot and this time Thibaut Courtois had nothing to do - 1:1.
