Bulgarian national team Alexander Vezenkov and Olympiakos achieved their fifth victory in the Greek basketball championship for men, Topsport reported.
"The Red and White" prevailed over Promiteas with 106:66 (24:18, 28:7, 31:24, 23:17) as a host in a match of the sixth round of the championship and took the second place in the temporary ranking. The leader in the standings is Panathinaikos with six successes from six games played.
Vezenkov scored 13 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and made 2 assists in 17 minutes on the court. The most productive of his teammates was Nikola Milutinov with a "double-double" of 19 points and 10 rebounds.
The hosts completely controlled the match, and at the break their lead was 52:25.
Olympiakos has two matches in a row in the EuroLeague - on November 12 as a host to ASVEL Lyon-Villorban and on November 14 as a guest of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Serbian capital Belgrade.
In the next round of the championship of our southern neighbor, Alexander Vezenkov and his teammates will visit PAOK in Thessaloniki on November 17.
