Florida won a resounding 6:1 at home against Edmonton in the third game of the final series in the National Hockey League of the United States and Canada (NHL), BTA reported.
The Panthers team took a 2:1 lead in the Stanley Cup series to a total of four victories.
Sam Einhart, Evan Rodriguez and Carter Verhage distinguished themselves with a goal and an assist, and their teammate Eetu Luostarinen made two finishing passes. Brad Marchand, Aaron Ekblad and Sam Bennett also scored for the visitors.
Goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky made 32 saves for the Panthers.
Florida could become the third team in the league to win back-to-back Stanley Cups in the last ten seasons.
Edmonton's opening goal was scored by Corey Perry in the second period of the game. The Oilers are trying to become the first Canadian team to win the championship since Montreal in 1993.
The next title playoff game between the two teams will be held on Thursday.
