The Bulgarian women's national volleyball team defeated Thailand 3:2 (26:24, 25:13, 21:25, 22:25, 15:9) in their last match of the week in Hong Kong in the League of Nations. Antonina Zetova's team could have achieved a clean victory, after leading 2:0 in the first game and 12:6 in the third, but the Asian team collapsed and rose. This is the first victory for Bulgaria in Hong Kong in four matches and a third success in total during the season in the League of Nations. After this match, the team temporarily came in 11th place in the standings with 9 points - three wins and five losses, BTA reported.

Bulgaria's coach Antonina Zetova started with a lineup: Alexandra Milanova, Lora Kitipova, Nasya Dimitrova, Hristina Vuchkova, Radostina Marinova, captain Elitsa Atanasijevich and libero Galina Karabasheva.
