The Bulgarian ensemble won the gold medal in the five-hoop final at the third World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships for Girls in Sofia, BTA reported.

Raja Bozhilova, Yoana Moteva, Anania Dimitrova, Gabriela Traykova, Ivayla Velkovska and Elena Hristova, who last night became absolute world champions in the all-around, showed their composition excellently and were awarded 26,600 points, of which 11,000 for difficulty, 8,150 for artistry, 7,450 for execution.

Thus, the students of Kristina Ilieva and Zhanina Ivanova finished the competition with two gold medals in the all-around and five-hoop, as well as bronze in five pairs clubs.

Brazil came in second with 25.350 points, and Italy and Estonia tied for third with a score of 25.100.

Bulgaria finished the World Championships with six medals (four gold and two bronze) after the titles in the all-around in the ensembles, in the team competition, of Magdalena Valkova in hoop, in the ensemble in the final with five hoops, as well as the bronzes of Valkova in ribbon and in the ensemble in the final with five pairs of clubs.
