Levski has received a conditional professional license for the next campaign. This was revealed by the fan association "Levski na Levskarite", Topsport reported.

A check by the Licensing Commission of the Bulgarian Football Union shows that this is indeed the case. And the Blues are in a group with the elite Botev Pd, Loko Pd, Beroe and Spartak Vn, as well as the second division Pirin Bl and Hebar, who had problems with the correctness of the documents.

In the case of Levski, the Licensing Commission mentioned that the club is subject to monitoring. "On the basis of Art. 14, item 2, b."e" of the NNKL (b.r. - National Club Licensing Regulation), the license is issued on condition that the club correctly complies with the regulations of Art. 50 and Art. 66 of the NNKL. The fulfillment of these requirements will be subject to review and control during the ongoing club monitoring for the 2025/26 season. The Licensing Commission may revoke the license early when the football club violates the requirements or does not meet the criteria of the National Club Licensing Regulation, edition 2024", Levski's license states.

Article 50 of the regulation concerns "Lack of overdue liabilities to staff and the NRA". Apparently, the Blues had a problem with one of the two or both, because in order to obtain a license, the club must have no overdue liabilities as of March 31. Article 66 regulates the monitoring of the lack of overdue liabilities to staff and the NRA. According to him, the Blues will have to report to the headquarters on June 30, and then on September 30, that they are in order in these cases.

In addition, "Levski na Levskarite" announced that they will ask written questions to the club. Among the questions will be specific about the situation with the license. As well as what the specific financial situation of the club is and what money is still owed to the National Revenue Agency and the Municipality of Sofia. They also want an answer to the situation with debts to companies of the former owner Vasil Bozhkov, as well as what amounts the management has paid for the preparation of a preliminary design for the construction of a new stadium.

QUESTIONS FROM "LEVSKI NA LEVSKARITE" TO THE CLUB:

What are Levski's obligations to the National Revenue Agency and the Municipality of Sofia at this moment? What is their nature? What is the relationship of these debts to the license?
What total amount has Levski formed as a liability to the company with which it had a contract to manage the club. How was the debt forgiveness structured - as a donation to the club or in some other way?
What is Levski going to receive as future proceeds from outgoing transfers that have already been made?
What are the plans regarding the club's debts to Vasil Bozhkov?
How much did Levski pay for plans for a new stadium?
Why is Levski under monitoring again and what caused the club to not be completely in order?

Nigerian midfielder Clement Ikenna is returning to Levski, Topsport reported. The defensive midfielder was on loan at Ukrainian side Kryvbas, where they announced that they would not exercise their buyout clause.

The 22-year-old African spent three months at Kryvbas, in which he played 7 games.
"We wish the player success in the future", wrote the Ukrainian team.

Ikenna came to "Gerena" last summer, but failed to establish himself in Levski's squad. It is still unclear whether he will be part of Julio Velasquez's team in the new season or if a new team will be sought for him.
