French football club Monaco has signed Barcelona midfielder Ansu Fati on loan.

The agreement is valid until the end of the 2025/26 season and includes an option to buy.

Fati is a product of the Barcelona academy. He has played 123 games for the national team, scoring 29 goals and making eight assists.

Previously, former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba became a player of Monaco.

Brighton's Brazilian striker Joao Pedro has undergone medical examinations before his transfer to Chelsea, Goal.com reports.

The 23-year-old is expected to sign a contract until 2032. Pedro has passed trials in the United States.

Chelsea and Brighton have already reached an agreement for a transfer worth £55m, plus £5m in add-ons.

Pedro scored 10 goals and provided seven assists last season.

Joao Pedro's presence in the United States during Chelsea's participation in the Club World Cup, which is being held there, has led to the possibility that the Brazilian could be included in the Londoners' squad for the quarter-finals.
