An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale occurred in Kamchatka, Russia. This is according to a report on the website of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), BTA reports.
The earthquake was recorded 118 km from Ozernovsky, Russia, 156 km east-northeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 70 km.
