A Russian woman driving in the capital Moscow had a nervous breakdown behind the wheel. Her video quickly spread on social networks, Focus.de reports.
Crying desperately, she describes how her navigation system broke down in the middle of Moscow and she had to drive in circles for a long time.
The German publication points out that this incident is not isolated, but is becoming an everyday occurrence for many Russians. The reason is that the authorities are jamming GPS signals to protect government buildings from attacks by Ukrainian drones.
Even before the start of the war, Russia has been experimenting with GPS manipulation, especially near sensitive military or political sites. After the Ukrainian drone attacks, the scale of this has increased significantly. Many navigation devices now show errors.
According to information, the woman lost her GPS near the Kremlin. The jammers are designed to prevent Ukrainian drones from carrying out attacks on targets in the center of the capital. But the measure has long affected civilians as well: drivers, couriers and emergency workers. For those affected, it means chaos on the roads. And sometimes tears behind the wheel.
