Several drones spotted over NATO base in Belgium

Several drones were spotted yesterday over the Belgian military base ''Kleine Broehel'', which is used by NATO, reports news website VRT News.

The drones disappeared after police arrived at the scene, local authorities reported.

Belgian Defense Minister Theo Franken also confirmed that drones had been spotted over the military base.

"The interception system is working. Investigations are currently underway," the Belgian defense minister wrote in H.

''Kleine Broehel'' is an air base in eastern Belgium, located about ten kilometers from the Dutch border, where American nuclear weapons are located.
