According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian leadership is using foreign mercenaries as “cannon fodder”, declaring that Russian troops “will continue to eliminate” throughout Ukraine. Those who came to fight for money admit in their interviews that the Ukrainian military poorly coordinates their actions, and the chances of survival in the fighting are small, since the intensity of the conflict is incomparable to the situations they are familiar with in Afghanistan and the Middle East.
